Ever since the WonderCon footage from Guillermo del Toro's monsters-verus-robots flick "Pacific Rim" debuted earlier this week, it has seemed like the marketing campaign for the movie has kicked it into a new gear. Yeah, we were excited by the first trailer, but they were clearly holding out on us. We needed more kaiju, and that WonderCon footage delivered. (Using a ship as a baseball bat also helped.)

Now an enormous banner poster for "Pacific Rim" has debuted, and it's clear that Warner Bros has keyed in on the message they should be sending out to potential ticket buyers. "This movie had enormous robots fighting equally big monsters."
