Also, see a new clip from "Red Dawn" and pick up a fear of flying in today's Dailies! » A harrowing new trailer for Peter Jackson's "West of Memphis," now getting ready for its theatrical release. President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney square off in the election next week, but don't forget about one of the other most important elections that took place this year: the one between Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis in "The Campaign," out on Blu-ray and DVD now. We have an exclusive deleted scene from the release that sees fierce political rivals Cam Brady and Marty Huggins laying down their proverbial rifles in favor of some smooth scotch and idle talk about Chinese bulldogs and college football. The conversation...

We've reached a high point in cinematic history, everyone. There's a new movie coming out called "Sharknado," and it's about exactly what it sounds like. The Asylum is shopping a movie around the American Film Market this week that is a high concept monster-meets-disaster movie. Yes, it is about a bunch of sharks who get caught in a storm and wreak havoc on the world. Probably not the best timing for this announcement considering a Miss Hurricane Sandy who recently devastated the east coast, but clearly this movie is meant to be taken with...

Since the end of last year, Steven Soderbergh has been riding an incredibly productive hot streak that included the underrated "Contagion," the kickass "Haywire," and the surprise hit "Magic Mike." That's exactly what makes his claims of retiring after this year so unfortunate. It also doesn't help that the trailer for his "final" theatrical release, "Side Effects," looks so good. The psychological thriller comes from the mind of writer Scott Z. Burns, a recent Soderbergh collaborator, who also wrote "Contagion," and stars Rooney Mara, Jude...

Most actors dream of landing the lead role in a movie that goes on to earn heaps and heaps of Oscar buzz months before it even hits theaters, especially one directed by Academy Award-winner Ang Lee. But Suraj Sharma, the young man at the center of Lee's latest film, "Life of Pi," never imagined he would be in a movie ever, a feeling he describes in an exclusive featurette for the film. "Growing up in India, I never thought that when I was watching a movie that I'd actually be in one," he says. "When I got the role, my mom and dad,...

Photo: (Getty) If you could sit down with President Obama over a nice pumpkin spice latte, what would you ask him? We recently caught up with "Awkward."'s very own Nikki Deloach, who (a) would go with a presidential brewski instead of a latte, and (b) proved she can sangggg! (I mean, she was on the "Mickey Mouse Club" alongside Britney and Justin for a reason.) With so much talk about Tuesday's prez election (OMG it's here!) we obvi had to talk politics with our fave TV mom! Not only did she dish out really the most fun answers EVARRR,...

We still have a week until "Skyfall" opens on US shores, but the newest Bond film is already breaking records overseas. The Sam Mendes-directed flick has managed to overtake the opening week record in the UK that was previously set by "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part 2." That film made $57.6 million in the seven days after its debut, while "Skyfall" has managed to rake in $59.9 million. The fact that "Skyfall" has managed to trump Britain's other beloved film franchise should be proof that this movie is as great as we've been...

By Colin Greten The new international trailer for the upcoming sequel "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" has hit the internet, and despite some recycled footage from previous trailers this one packs a serious punch and even includes more of the original "G.I. Joe" star Channing Tatum. The film was pushed back from its original release date last summer to a March 29, 2013 premiere, so it probably won't win any Academy Awards but this film sure looks like it will have plenty of guns, explosions and pure brawn, especially with the new additions to the...

Thanks to Messrs. Walt Disney and George Lucas, there will be more Star Wars movies headed toward your local megaplex. More Star Wars movies may mean more opportunities to see our favorite characters in the flesh— more Han Solo, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca—but it also means a possible chance to see much more of the lesser-known "supporting" characters that we might have only glimpsed in the existing films. These are the ten characters that MTV News would be most eager to see again. All of them have extended stories in the Expanded...

"Les Misérables" remains one of the big question marks of the early award season buzz. It has all of the prestige to be a power player by the time that nominations role around, but no one has seen it. Does anyone need to see it, though? The musical is the same beloved musical that's been a Broadway staple for years, and the all-star cast should automatically elevate it into the awards conversation. Either a way, " Les Misérables " is already considered a big presence in the pre-Oscar field, and with the marketing campaign beginning to pick...

There are three very different movies out in theaters this week that could easily earn your ticket prices. And "The Man With the Iron Fists" is for the film geeks out there. So what are you...
