Photo: (MTV) Yesterday, you got to know the philanthropic side of Cara Parrish, and in last night's new episode of "BUCKWILD," you had a chance to meet her ex-girlfriend, Sevgi. Cara was kind of nervous about coming out as bisexual to her castmates -- and (no pressure) the world! -- but she's been getting a really positive response. We saw Shain go bug-eyed on the show, but to learn about other people's reaction, we talked to Cara herself. Yeah, she was nervous, but it's all good, especially since she's able to use this opportunity to clear...

Photo: (Getty) It's a very, very sad time for America right now... hearts are shattering as the news broke that David Beckham has officially signed a new soccer deal and will be relocating to Paris! Our hearts mostlyyy healed with the news he shared next! The soccer stud announced he will be joining Paris St.-Germain for the rest of the Ligue 1 season. Although we may still be a bit bitter that he has left the LA Galaxy, we are quite impressed with what he has decided to do with his 5-month salary. The dreamy athlete...

Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that it was Daniel Craig's salary demands that have held up production on a sequel to "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." Since the first film didn't fare as well as hoped, corners would have to be cut for the characters of Steig Larsson's popular novels to appear on screen again stateside. But when MTV News' Josh Horowitz spoke with Rooney Mara on the red carpet for Steven Soderbergh's "Side Effects," she was quick to dismiss the talk as baseless rumors. "I've been talking a lot with ['Dragon...

By Ade Mangum The political drama "House of Cards," a remake of a British miniseries, makes its big premiere today. What network is it on? Well, it's not really on television. In the vein of pop classic "Video Killed the Radio Star," executive producer David Fincher and actor Kevin Spacey are attempting to, in a sense, "kill" the television medium. "House of Cards" has cut out the middle man and partnered with the top internet video streaming company, Netflix. We got that, but what day will each new episode be released? Umm, today....

As the former mayor of New York City, Ed Koch, who died today at the age of 88, was a prominent pop culture figure in his own right. He appeared in several movies and TV shows; "Sex and the City," "The Muppets Take Manhattan," "The First Wives Club" and "The Hebrew Hammer" are just a few of the productions in which he appeared as himself. But Koch was also a true movie lover. After his mayoral tenure, he became a bona fide critic, reviewing films for a New York area newspaper. And in 2009 he started an online video series called "The Mayor...

Photos: (Getty) Guess who wants to serenade you this Valentine's Day? Mr. President! Our boy Baracksdubs is at it again, and this time around, he wants you to pick a song for Obama to sing on the most romantic (sometimes most depressing) day of the year. The last song y'all chose was an instant classic. Remember when Obama sang "Call Me Maybe" -- since you guys picked that song, it's received over 35 million views on YouTube and even Barry saw it! So the pressure's on to pick another awesome jam. You ready? Voting ends on February 8! + Taylor...

The sequel to "The Raid: Redemption" has officially started production. Though it might not have started shooting on January 19 like Gareth Evans promised, PT Merantau Films and XYZ Films have sent out a press release stating that "The Raid 2: Berendal" began production on January 31. "To all our fans thank you so much for your support. We can't wait to come back and show you what we have been working on," Evans said in the release. "We'll be there in 2014 with a film bigger, better and bloodier! Wish us luck." We'd wish them luck, but...

Photo: (SFGate) It's still only the beginning of 2013, and with any new year there always comes talk about losing weight. But Virgie Tovar, the editor of the book "Hot & Heavy: Fierce Fat Girls on Life, Love & Fashion" says that it's time to lose hate -- not weight. "Hot & Heavy" focuses on the personal stories of plus size women who talk about and celebrate their bodies instead of feeling ashamed of them. Virgie says it's a one-of-a-kind book, and we wanted to hear some words of wisdom from her. She gives some great advice on...

Photo: (Getty) Did you know Lauren Conrad's parents didn't let her watch MTV until she was 16 years old?! Sounds cray, considering it's been ten years since we caught our first glimpse of LC on our televisions. We've watched our favorite California blonde transition from one reality show to another, write seven books (all bestsellers, natch), and launch two clothing lines -- all while maintaining the cool, girl-down-the-beach vibe that we've grown to know and love. In honor of her 27th birthday today, here are four reasons we're glad LC's parents...

At this year's Sundance Film Festival, one of the movies that won over just about anyone who saw it was the teen drama starring Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley, "The Spectacular Now." MTV News' Josh Horowitz caught up with Teller and Woodley, who both won acting awards at the fest, and their co-star Brie Larson, plus director James Ponsoldt to talk about what separates their coming-of-age story from every other teen movie that hits the markets. Woodley's answer was short and to the point. "The sex scenes, I'm sorry." This is...

MTV News headed to Montreal, Canada to not only visit the zombie apocalypse but participate in it. Christina Garibaldi took a trip to the set of "Warm Bodies," the undead romance set to rekindle audiences' hearts this weekend. On the set, Garibaldi even got to go full zombie, donning some ragged clothes and undead makeup to fit the part. Then to make for a more convincing member of the horde, she got some helpful advice from star Nicholas Hoult. "The thing we are trying to stay clear of is overdoing it," Hoult said. "It's just...

Abrams' love of "Star Wars" has never been a secret, and it was one of the contributing factors to him getting the "Episode VII" job. In the wake of that news, people have been combing the archives for every time Abrams mentioned "Star Wars" to try to get an idea of what is coming our way in 2015 or 2016. The latest video to surface comes from a TED talk Abrams did in 2007 at the height of his IT boy status. In the clip, the director and producer explains his favorite dramatic element, the mystery box, and how it makes the first "Star Wars"...
