The Wanted's new single "Walks Like Rihanna" hit the airwaves today, and the Dr. Luke-produced jam is a sugary ode to the Barbadian queen of pop's sexy strut. Barring the one situation I wish she'd just walk away from (rhymes with "Dismiss [that] Clown"), Rihanna has recently taken many steps in the right direction.
Here are four ways to do the same to increase your odds of being wanted by The Wanted!
+ Give Back Like Rihanna
Last month, Rihanna walked into Chicago's Barrington High to reward its students for giving thousands of hours and millions of dollars to charity over the years. The pop star arrived three hours late, but hey, the song isn't called "Runs Like Rihanna."
+ Feed Families Like Rihanna
After Hurricane Sandy, Ri-Ri donated $100,000 to the Food Bank of New York to help those affected by the natural disaster. She also required everyone who walked into her November "Unapologetic" listening party to donate a relief item at the door. That's one club cover charge nobody can complain about!
+ Fight Cancer Like Rihanna
"Walks Like Rihanna" may as well be titled "Balls Like Rihanna," 'cause the diva donated $1,750,000 to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados like it was no big thang. Rihanna lost her grandmother to cancer two years ago, and gave the money to the hospital's cancer division, now named the Clara Braithwaite Center for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine in her honor.
+ Help Children Like Rihanna
Ri-Ri founded The BELIEVE Foundation in 2006 to make sure that kids around the world are well enough to "Walk Like Rihanna." The org uses 100% of donations to provide youth financial, educational, and medical support wherever it is needed.
Take action below to "Walk Like Rihanna," and who knows?! Maybe you'll catch The Wanted's eye!
