By Rya Backer It's my first time at Bonnaroo, and so far, I wouldn't change anything for the world. I've been hit in the head twice (once by a Frisbee, the other time by a young man on a lot of drugs in a banana costume); I haven't eaten a vegetable since we flew to Nashville on Wednesday afternoon; I saw Jon Pareles and Bill Murray enjoying Radiohead's set; and I've seen more regrettable tattoos in just these three days than I've seen in my entire life (special shout-out to the black bear on the California state flag whose claws morph into...

In theaters, the story of the week is clearly "Prometheus" and for good reason. Ridley Scott has done something very big and very ambitious, and whether he pulls it off is up to you. But in case you're interested in checking out the rest of this week's releases, we have all the movie pairings you could hope for. Check out this week's Double Feature Friday! "Prometheus" & "2001: A Space Odyssey" The scale Ridley Scott is working on for his latest sci-fi film may only find a comparable companion in Stanley Kubrick's cinematic masterpiece...

And of course it's sweet and perfect. With Jepsen at his side, Fallon and his "Late Night" house band The Roots play a variety of children's instruments, including a multicolored xylophone, bongos, a tone block and tambourine with Jepsen handling triangle duties, as they harmonize away on the hit song. While all the "Call Me Maybe" covers have been fun, the trend is getting a little played out, and it simply can't get any better than Fallon, Jepsen and the Roots' goofy and wonderful backstage performance. Hopefully we'll be able to look back on it as the best and last. Check it out below: ...

The best way to convince us that a "RoboCop" remake is totally necessary is line up an awesome cast for it, and MGM is doing just that. Hot off the news that Samuel L. Jackson has joined the film as a "charismatic TV mogul and a powerful force in the Robocop world," the studio has seemed to have found itself a female lead as well. Deadline is reporting that Abbie Cornish is currently in talks for a big role in the movie. But instead of playing Alex Murphy's former partner Anne Lewis, who was the most important female character in the original...

Considering the box office success of "Snow White and the Huntsman," it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that a sequel to the film is being created. Deadline has the news that Universal is moving forward with their planned follow-up to "Snow White," with David Koepp writing the script and Rupert Sanders potentially returning to direct. And if reports are correct, this movie could see its title character getting a bit darker. When we saw her at the MTV Movie Awards, Kristen Stewart said she is not a fan of that journey for Snow White. "It...

Photo: (Getty Images/Twitter) Ian Somerhalder had a big day yesterday! The "Vampire Diaries" heartthrob met with President Barack Obama, and while the star sounded starstruck himself, it appears as if the two did some good talking about some important issues. Ian sent out more than one tweet about his meeting with the POTUS, and one in particular gives us deets on what the two discussed and even gives us a pic. Oh, man, if Ian were on Facebook, that would totally have to be his FB picture. He said: Just spent my morning w/this man talkn...

If the ever-lovely Beth Ditto is to believed, she may well be. In a recent interview with Pop Justice, Ditto revealed that while she and her Gossip bandmates were in England recording at Xenomania Towers, the rural headquarters for super-producer Brian Higgins and his crew, they encountered a number of other musicians – but it's the one who wasn't there at the time but was planning on "coming in" that got us the most excited. "Florrie was there, Annie was there. That's when Nathan and I were there anyway. And there were some other people...

Okay, now our belief that Darren Aronofsky was watching Sunday's MTV Movie Awards before casting the younger characters in his take on "Noah" is confirmed. Emma Watson is the latest actress to have her name be attached to the project. Deadline has learned that Watson is in talks to play Ila, a "young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah's son, Shem." Shem will be played by Douglass Booth, while Logan Lerman is playing Noah's other son, Ham. Considering Lerman and Watson already worked together on "The Perks of Being a Wallflower,"...

Zachary Swickey We reported earlier this week that rocker Axl Rose had been robbed of several pieces of hefty bling that ware valued at up to $200,000. The jewelry went missing after a Guns N' Roses show in Paris, but the coveted items have now been recovered. Axl was throwing an intimate party for around 130 people after the GNR performance at the city's Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy stadium when three of his gold and diamond encrusted necklaces went missing. Well, apparently someone had too much to drink at the party that night as...

By Elizabeth Lancaster @lizzydl Miley Cyrus has been known to shock in the past – but this week's announcement of the 19-year-old star's engagement to 22-year-old boyfriend Liam Hemsworth trumps all. Since this news was released, media outlets have been overwhelmed with a range of opinions from family, friends and fellow artists. The latest to join the conversation is fellow country music star Carrie Underwood, who spoke out at the CMT Music Awards with some words of wisdom for young Miley. "If you can, be engaged for a while, plan everything...

Our favorite evil clown is making his sadistic return. Warner Bros is set to adapt the best-selling Stephen King novel "It" and they've hired "Jane Eyre" filmmaker Cary Fukunaga to helm the project over two films. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fukunaga will direct and co-write the screenplay with Chase Palmer, who previously turned "Dune" by Frank Herbert into a script for Paramount. Roy Lee and Dan Lin are on board to produce along with Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg from KatzSmith Production. The book, published in 1986,...

President Barack Obama has always had a way with young people, and when it comes to his re-election bid, the POTUS is turning to young Hollywood to make sure it stays that way. The youth vote was key to the president's election in 2008. He captured two thirds of voters under the age of 30 last time around and wants to recapture the magic again, so the Commander in Chief invited 25 lucky stars to a private breakfast at the Beverly Hilton on Thursday (June 7) to discuss the Young America Effort, an initiative that encourages young people to vote....

We've been hyped for "Cosmopolis" ever since it was first announced, and we've been anxiously awaiting the announcement of a release date. The film was recently screened and picked up at Cannes to be released in the United States. eOne plans to distribute the flick to the United States starting on August 17. To be honest, this doesn't exactly seem like an end of summer movie, but the sooner we get to see "Cosmopolis" the better. The movie will initially open only in Los Angeles and New York, but will expand to other cities soon after. ...

Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" demands to be seen. A precisely crafted piece of science-fiction, it requires active reflection on the part of the audience and will disappoint if taken in at face value. We simply cannot get enough of the "Django Unchained" trailer.
