Kanye West's "less is more" approach to Twitter is f'in brilliant. He rarely Tweets, so when he does, it makes worldwide news. Yeezy took "less is more" to a whole new level this morning, when he deleted everything he's ever written, and replaced it with a single, cryptic message: "June Eighteen."

If you're now more perplexed than the double rainbow guy, here are a few significant June 18th events Kanye just so happens to be associated with.

Swedish Vikings attacked Constantinople. Preeeetty sure Kanye's "Power" video was a reenactment of this.
+ June 18, 1948
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on June 18, 1948. The declaration was the first global initiative of it's kind, listing the rights that all human beings are inherently entitled to. Rights like, "No one shall be held in slavery or servitude," and "Ain't no dictators messing wit' yo' clique, clique, clique, clique..." ("Clique" clause added in 2012.)

Sandra Day O'Connor became the first female U.S. Supreme Court Justice on June 18th, 1981, and remained in office until 2006. She was a key swing vote in many major cases, including when she voted against her fellow Republicans call to reverse the Roe v. Wade ruling on abortion rights. Kanye thought he was the key swing vote at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, explaining his shock and dismay when Taylor Swift won Best Female Video over Beyonce.

June 18th is Autism Pride Day. Started by the autism activist community Aspies For Freedom, Autistic Pride Day celebrates people living with autism as unique rather than disordered. Autism is a neurological condition (meaning it affects the brain) but AFF champions neurodiversity -- the concept that what is neurologically different isn't necessarily wrong. Pride Day encourages those living with autism to be proud of who they are, and those who know them to recognize their worth and potential.
When we asked Kanye about Autistic Pride Day, he replied, "Fur pillows are hard to actually sleep on." Just kidding. That was a totally different interview with a totally different publication.

What on Earth could Kanye's Tweet be about?!!!!
Mkay, let's not act so naive. June 18th happens to be somewhere near Kim Kardashian's due date. It's also about time King Kanye bestows a new album upon his royal subjects. Or maybe Kanye simply gets off on riling people up. Scratch that. No maybes here. Kanye West is definitely enjoying our attention.
