After a fake trailer, a real trailer, and then an actual movie, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from Robert Rodriguez's "Machete" franchise. There are lots of guns, violence to go along, and beautiful women, who will also have big guns.

So when we hear something like, "Oh, hey, Sofia Vergara is going to be in 'Machete Kills,'" a thought that quickly follows that news is, "Oh, that's pretty cool. She'll probably have guns coming out of her breasts or something." Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.

A new character poster for the "Grindhouse" spin-off sequel has debuted online (via Dread Central), and your first thought about her character is also the correct one.

As the poster indicates, Vergara plays a character named Desdemona, a dominatrix-style madame who Machete encounters in his latest adventure.

Things have been relatively quiet from the "Machete Kills" camp, especially now that Rodriguez is in production with "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For." With a September release date on the books, expect to see a trailer coming in the next few months.

Vergara will be joined by Danny Trejo who reprises the title role, Amber Heard, Lady Gaga, Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, and Antonio Banderas.

"Machete Kills" opens on September 13.
