Jon Stewart is taking a break from "The Daily Show," but don't be alarmed. The comedian has lined up his directorial debut, and plans to film it over the summer.

The movie will be called "Rosewater," Deadline reports, and is an adaptation of the book "Then They Came For Me: A Family's Story of Love, Captivity and Survival." Needless to say, this doesn't sound like it's going to be a comedy.

"Rosewater" will chronicle BBC journalist Maziar Bahari's captivity in Iran after trying to cover the country's presidential elections. He ended up imprisoned for 118 days and interrogated by a man he only knew because he smelled of rosewater. Bahari co-wrote "Then They Came For Me" with Aimee Molloy.

If you're wondering what will happen to "The Daily Show" during Stewart's 12-week absence, have no fear, because John Oliver will host instead. Color us intrigued.
