It's #ThrowbackThursday, and chances are your Instagram feed is full of awkward, adorable, or awkwardly adorable pics of your friends and followers from back in the day. If your fave thing about Thursdays is celebrity throwbacks, we've got 'em for ya! Today: the one and only Kanye West.
Kanye West's mouth was wired shut back in 2002, but he hasn't stopped talking since! And we ain't mad at him, because the talented rapper and producer is constantly changing the game, and pushing boundaries in music and hip hop.
Yeezy has changed his tune many times over the years. Figuratively and literally, like his autotune-heavy 808s & Heartbreaks. Kanye's debut album, College Dropout, poked fun at higher education; today, the proud papa is helping young people Get Schooled. His charity, Donda's House, will soon be launching Got Bars -- a 10-week music program for Chicago Youth. According to Rollingstone, students will learn how to write and record under the instruction of Grammy-winning rapper Rhymefest.
Kanye has also gone from bashing pop princesses (Three words: Taylor. Swift. VMAs.) to collaborating with them, like on his upcoming "Black Skinhead" remix featuring Miley Cyrus. BTW, he totes apologized for that whole T-Swift incident. The fact is, K.W. will always walk A Thin Line between confidence and arrogance...but let's get real: that's why we love him. His faith in himself and his work is unbeatable, and we could all stand to learn a little somethin' from the man who calls himself Yeezus.
