We could lit-er-ally name a billion reason why we are currently obsessed with the 30 Second to Mars rocker, from his eyes to his golden locks, he is clearly one of a kind. Not to mention he is way into giving back and standing up for awesome causes.
+ Opposes Fracking
Twitter is a powerful tool to spread awareness, and Jared did just that by Tweeting his thoughts on fracking.
Don't do It. "@sierraclub: U.S. Forest Service set to decide on #fracking in GW National Forest: http://t.co/3oGEYtddbV @washingtonpost)"

So, are you still confused what fracking even is? Trust me, I was the same way.
Rosario Dawson gave us a great explanation a couple of years back. When we interviewed her, she revealed, 'Fracking is a process of natural gas drilling. It requires blasting water, toxic chemicals and sand underground into rock formations to crack them apart and release the gas. It contaminates the water wells of homes and communities, such that people can light their tap water on fire; and it also produces billions of gallons of waste-water, water that is not treatable, that ends up getting dumped into rivers and streams." Now the next time you hear this word, I hope it makes a bit more sense!
+ Jared's New Movie Role

What can't Jared do? In his new movie Dallas Buyers Club, Jared plays a transsexual with HIV alongside Matthew McConaughey in a role that won't disappoint. To get into character, Jared began to reflect back on his past. In 1991, Jared's roommate actually died of AIDS.
Jared told E! News: "I rented a room in a three-bedroom apartment and one of the rooms was rented by a man who was dying ... I was in the middle of the film and it (the memory) hit me. I couldn't believe I had this experience with this man who was incredibly gentle. It was actually in the first week of filming that I recalled this and it really affected me in a deep way...He was a wonderful person."
+ Global Dirt Supporter
Jared is calling on his fans via Twitter and Facebook to vote for Global Dirt in the American Airlines video contest! Global Dirt is a charity that focuses on immediate responses after a big disaster. Along with Global Dirt, other non-profits are in the running for American Airlines big prize. Whoever ends up winning this contest will get 25,000 airline miles.
