Oasis' Noel Gallagher has never been one to hold his tongue, but his latest slip may bring on the wrath of millions of upset One Directioners.
The classic rocker recently let the world know what he really thinks of 1D and modern pop music in general. But whose side are you on: old school or new school?
Let's just say Noel won't be making a "Champagne Supernova" toast to One Direction, or any of today's hottest pop acts, any time soon. "Pretty f*cking dreadful, the music is," he told GQ magazine. "I can't get my head round pop music. It's all on the same frequency. It all seems designed to aggravate my teeth. You know music that makes your teeth hurt?" Ouch!

One Direction recently covered Blondie's "One Way Or Another" for Comic Relief -- an org that encourages young people to find fun ways to give back in their communities and around the world. Comic Relief helps people in need in over 70 different nations, all through the power of laughter (and fundraising). What does Noel think of 1D's cover? According to him, they "murdered" it, and not in that positive, ironic way in which kids are using the word "murder" nowadays. (As in, "Serena totally murdered the U.S. Open")

He's not ALL bad! Noel recently made amends in the name of charity, with former rival, Blur singer Damon Albarn. The two joined musical forces at a Teenage Cancer Trust fundraiser, where they played in support of teens fighting cancer. The org is also all about teaching teens to take preventative measures, like eating healthy, exercising regularly, not smoking, and avoiding tanning beds.
