Solange Knowles doesn't need much help to look stunning, but it doesn't hurt to have your designer BFFs dress you either. Taking New York Fashion Week by storm, the singer dished to Teen Vogue about supporting those closest to her and how she evolved into the person she is today.
In the interview, Knowles immediately gets to the heart of NYFW: the clothes. Because her friends are "all designers," (including the team behind Noon By Noor, which is where Solange's amaze outfit above is from) the singer doesn't have to go far to find an fab look to wear. Nothing says best friends forever like getting clothes for free "that you actually love," right?
Given her support for rising stars in the fashion world, Teen Vogue asked Solange to share her tips on how to be more confident. The singer admitted that "it's an evolution," but she shared that even though she didn't have nearly as much confidence as a teenager, she eventually became "really, really comfortable" with herself.
Knowles also stressed the importance of not apologizing for who you are. In fact, the singer emphasized the need to "really clue into what you're good at," because if "there's something you have a strength in," you have to "hold tight to it."
