One of Michelle Obama's goals is to get Americans healthier, and one easy way to do that is to drink more water. That's why FLOTUS and the Partnership for a Healthier America have come together for the all-new Drink Up campaign. Kerry Washington really likes this simple-but-sweet initiative, so she took to Twitter to share it!
The actress Tweeted:
Join the @FLOTUS & @PHANews…you are what you drink & when you #DrinkH20 you drink up! RT http://t.co/X3xVlP32ui

This new effort is really as simple as it sounds: it asks you to drink more water. It's not asking you to drink only water every day of your life . . . it's not asking you to never, ever drink a sweet drink again. . . but it's asking you to drink more water than you already are. As it is, one out of four kids doesn't drink water daily.
"Since we started the Let's Move! initiative, I've been looking for as many ways as possible to help families and kids lead healthier lives," FLOTUS said. "I've come to realize that if we were going to take just one step to make ourselves and our families healthier, probably the single best thing we could do is to simply drink more water. . . Drink just one more glass of water a day and you can make a real difference for your health, your energy, and the way you feel."
The website also wants you to show off your awesome water-drinking skills. You can take a pic of yourself raising a glass of water (or drinking it) and Instagram it with the hashtag #DrinkH2O. Your pics will be added to the ever-growing gallery. Let's keep our eyes peeled for a pic from Kerry . . . and see how many other pics get in!
