It's about time for another "Star Wars: Episode VII" rumor. What's up for speculation this time?

Ahh, it appears that Talkbacker.com is citing an anonymous source that claims to know a potential title for the ever-discussed sequel. According to the site, "A New Dawn" is one of the titles under consideration by Team J.J. The report also includes mention that a 1:1 scale cross-section of the Millennium Falcon is being built in Pinewoods studios, alongside a power plant set and the Mos Eisley cantina.

Consider this a particularly shaky rumor for now since Talkbacker's source says it's just one of several names being considered, and "A New Dawn" was floating around as early as last November, before Abrams signed on.

There's also the point to be made that "A New Dawn" just isn't a good title, which is valid. It's not particularly exciting or unique. "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" scooped up the word first and to better effect, and we saw how everyone and their Twitter account-owning mother reacted to "Star Trek Into Darkness." ("Shouldn't there be a colon? LOL #originalthought")

But a boring title isn't necessarily a bad one. Let's just argue a case for a title that will probably never be the title.

The parallelism to "A New Hope" is nice, and it could be a decent olive branch to the spurned fans of the original trilogy. The "Return of the Jedi" reference hidden in "Revenge of the Sith" helped a little, didn't it?

"A New Dawn" also has the potential for multiple thematic meanings without giving too much of the plot away. The film could start with the start of a new Republic, but it could end with the reformation of the Sith. Oooo, layers.
