As an entertainer, Robin Thicke likes to court controversy, but he doesn't spend all his time getting people to raise their eyebrows. This week philanthropy seems to really be on his mind.
After Tweeting on Tuesday about the importance of making sure all people have access to clean water, Robin continued his do-goodery with this informative Tweet:
Teaming up w/@tixforcharity on #RobinThickeTour tix to benefit @NRDC & @StJude— on sale now to help 2 great causes. http://t.co/o3V7VraWEK

So if you're wanting to get some Robin Thicke tix, this is def the site to check out. Tickets for Charity sells tickets for the same price as other places, but here your money will help benefit important orgs. Robin has picked St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Natural Resources Defense Council as his orgs of choice.
If you want a lil background, St. Jude works to cure and prevent diseases found in children, and it won't turn any patients away, regardless of their ability to pay. Natural Resources Defense Council, meanwhile, is an environmental group that does things like protect endangered species and combat global warming. On top of that, you can pick a third charity of your choice when you buy tickets.
A number of celebs like to use Tickets for Charity, so it might be worth checking out the site to see what other singers are encouraging you to get front row seats while helping a cause. Oh, and if anyone thinks it's strange for you to dress up like Robin for Halloween (yup, there's a real costume), just tell them you're doing it to promote his charitable endeavors.
