Demi Lovato loves Free the Children and Me to We, so of course she would have to be part of We Day Toronto, which exists thanks to these orgs, among others.

We Day is connected to the We Act program, which goes around all year long, and encourages young people to take action on both a local and global level. But We Day is more than just a day: It's meant to be a movement, getting people to stop thinking about "me" and thinking about "we," and how we can come together to better the world.

And so last weekend, about 20,000 young people gathered in Toronto to see speakers and performers like Demi Lovato, Darren Criss, Imagine Dragons, the Jonas Brothers, Austin Mahone, Martin Luther King III and Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. You might be thinking that tix to this had to have been MEGA expensive, but that's actually not true. You don't get to attend We Day by pulling out bills or a credit card — you get to go there by earning tix through charitable service.

Demi shared a pic on social media of herself looking pretty excited to be there (and I'm sure proud of such a big audience full of do-gooders!).

We Day events happen in different places (the next one will be in Minnesota in October), so don't cry if you missed Toronto. Instead, why don't you check the website out and see how you can get involved, start doing good, and maybe get to attend a future We Day?
