All of us can fess up to stuffing at least one or two comfy, faded blues that have seen better days into the back of our closet– can't we? Well, now it's time to dig that denim out and do good!

In between filming new episodes of "Nashville" and fighting to save Japan's dolphins, Hayden Panettiere recently cleaned through her closet for a cause. She's one of thirteen celebs who donated a pair of pre-worn, personally autographed jeans to "The Great Denim Challenge", an auction supporting Cotton's Blue Jeans Go Green. Other stars to lend a helping hand include Britney Spears, Darren Criss, AnnaSophia Robb and Kellan Lutz.

The best part? There's no need to bid a handful of Benjamins. Rather the recycling program wants piles of your old blues to help them reach a milestone - collecting its one-millionth piece of denim. It doesn't matter if its skirts, shirts, shorts or skinnies – round 'em all up! The denim collected will be re-purposed to provide insulation for communities in need across the U.S. Since 2006, the program has kept tons of waste out of landfills and insulated over 1,000+ homes through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity and its own grant program.

We know you wanna add your favorite star's jeans to your closet, so better start hustling for those denim donations! Each pair up for auction will go to the fan that commits to collecting the most denim for recycling and places their bid by November 3^rd.
