John Legend and Chrissy Teigen just had a wedding made in heaven in Italy, but honeymoon or no honeymoon, you can't stop a good philanthropist from being philanthropic! That's why we're not at all surprised to see John still Tweeting away about important pro-social topics.
Education and breaking the cycle of poverty are two issues that really matter to him, so he created the Show Me Campaign, where education is used to break the cycle of poverty. In a recent interview about what he's doing, the Legend himself said, "We have a fundamentally unequal education system in the U.S. — just 10 percent of our schools are responsible for 40 percent of drop out students, and those schools are concentrated in our poorest communities — the communities that are most in need of the transformative power of education. This is why the Show Me Campaign fights for every child to have access to a quality education, regardless of race, income or zip code."

You've also got to appreciate the background pic on the website where it looks like John's the teacher. Wouldn't that make class more interesting?!
If you want to help the Show Me Campaign show the world what a diff a good education can make, you can join John by donating or signing up for the newsletter. If John's talking about this so close to his wedding, you know it's got to be good!
