At 16-years-old, Ariana Grande is wise beyond her years. We recently sat down with the talented singer to get some career advice and chat about "The Way" she handles bullies.

"There's always gonna be somebody who doesn't like you," Ariana says, addressing Arianators who feel bullied or unappreciated. "I think the sooner you can come to terms with the fact that you're not always gonna be liked by everybody, the sooner you'll be happier, and the sooner you'll be okay with everything." We spend a lot of our lives trying to impress others, but Ariana knows that's not what's up. "You can't please everybody," she advises, keepin' it real as always, "and as long as you're pleased with what you're doing and the choices you're making, I think that's the most important thing."

Step one in achieving personal and professional success is loving yourself. Secondly, Ariana stresses the importance of surrounding yourself with people who love you -- of having a good support system. For her, it's family. "I think one of the most important things when it comes to achieving your dreams ... would be to have a supportive parent," says Grande. "You have to have a guardian to talk to, to console you, because there's a lot of rejection in [this world] ... and you have to have somebody by your side who will help you."

Whether you turn to your friends, your family, a teacher, or a licensed professional, it's always okay to reach out when you need help.
