"Dancing With the Stars" is back on, and cat-loving contestant Snooki might find a kindred spirit in judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who often uses social media to talk about animals and ways to help them!
In fact, yesterday Carrie Ann got into the cat love by sharing this pic of her babies:

But she's more than a proud pet parent — she's a full-out animal welfare activist who has a special place in her heart for felines. She's used her own webseries CribCat to help cats find forever homes and she also founded The Carrie Ann Inaba Animal Project. The mission of the project is to save animals from being put down in shelters and teach people about how great companion animals can be.
In a recent interview with All Animals magazine, Carrie Ann said, "I think that cats are underappreciated. A lot of people fear them because if a cat doesn't like you, he lets you know. Dogs tend to be a lot more trusting. I had a bit of a rougher childhood, and I didn't trust people, so I've always related to cats. I have two dogs, and I love them so much. It's a different type of love; it's just as strong, but it feels different. I understand cats. I can feel what they're thinking."
Speaking of dogs, did you know that Carrie Ann adopted a 10-year-old boxer suffering from a heart condition, because she knew that dogs like that are hard to find homes for? Cats and dogs give unconditional love, but she's giving it right back!
