With over two million people diagnosed annually, skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the U.S.! Fortunately, it is also the most preventable.
It's skin cancer awareness month, and whether you're fair skinned like Emma Stone or naturally dark, it's important to protect your skin from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays every day! We're rating celebs' tans on a scale of snow white to...erm...raisin, alongside a few helpful facts courtesy of the Skin Cancer Foundation.
+ Emma Stone
Emma Stone is obvi making this face because she forgot to wear sunscreen! One in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime, and whether you're fair like Emma or naturally dark, people of all skin tones are at risk. Rating: 2
+ Macklemore
Macklemore's "Thrift Store" outfit is missing one essential item: a top hat. Make a fashion statement and protect yourself from the sun's harmful rays with some fly headwear. Rating: 3
+ Ke$ha
More than 90 percent of the visual signs of skin aging are caused by the sun, so keep your "Crazy Beautiful Life" Face protected under a wide-brimmed hat like Ke$ha's. Rating: 5
+ Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence was almost as golden as an Oscar at February's Oscar Nominees Luncheon. Just one indoor tanning session increases users' chances of developing melanoma by 20 percent, and each additional session in the same year increases risk by another two percent! Yeah, I said "year." Rating: 7
+ Kelly Osbourne

"Fashion Police" co-host Kelly Osbourne made the ultimate fashion faux pas last month when she forgot her most important beach accessory: sun block. A person's risk for melanoma doubles after five or more sunburns! Wear a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 to protect yourself from the sun's ultraviolet rays, which can cause skin damage even when it's cloudy out. Rating: 8
+ Ralph Lauren
The couple that tans together…ages together. Rating: 9
+ Patricia Krentcil
"Tanning Mom" Patricia Krentcil isn't as leathery as she used to be, but she's still 50 shades from normal. The tanning addict recently released a song titled "It's Tanning Mom," and, well, it's too bad to link to. I'll let you Google the musical gem on your own. Rating: 10
