What do spring break and gay marriage have in common? Uh. everything. In a new "Funny or Die" exclusive, James Franco, Andy Samberg, Zach Galifianakis, and Edward Norton show us that no party is complete without hot chicks, cold brews, and…marrying a man.
James drops by Zach Galifianakis' online talk show "Between Two Ferns" to promote a film, but soon finds himself receiving a lesson on spring break from none other than The Lonely Island. (The band responsible for classics like "D*ck In A Box," "I'm On A Boat," and now the "Spring Break Anthem.") The party starts off like any other -- girls in skimpy bikinis and guys in douchey sunglasses -- but ends with James, Zach, Edward, and The Lonely Island marrying each other in tuxes. Damnit. There goes my shot.
This isn't the first time James has used a movie's promo tour to support the gay community. "There is still this homophobia or prejudice against certain kinds of material in mainstream cinema," he told reporters at SXSW. "I don't know what would signal a significant change, but I think some change still needs to happen." Delaware became the 11th state to legalize same-sex marriage earlier this week, but it looks like James and the boys are holding out for Florida, California, and all the other spring break faves!
