Today mtvU is debuting an awesome new series called "Random Acts of mtvU." Your fave musicians surprise their biggest fans with a random act of...you guessed it, kindness! The first musicians spreading good karma in the new series? No other than  Macklemore & Ryan Lewis!

In the video below, the chart-topping duo travel to St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia to surprise a fan. Julia, who considers herself to be their "biggest fan," has no idea that the duo are creeping and ninja-crawling their way to her.

When the duo finally made their way over to where Julia was being interviewed by the mtvU team, she had an awesome freak-out which resulted in a three-way hug. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis then surprised Julia and her best friend with a trip and tickets to Hangout Fest in Alabama. Julia's response pretty much summed up the entire experience: "You guys are the coolest humans ever!"

In other episodes Darren Criss, Usher and Nick Cannon will surprise fans on college campuses too! And these aren't just any ol' stans -- these super fans have done something good for the lives of others which is why these stars want to show them love! Along with getting recognized on mtvU and meeting their idols IRL, the fans also get various "Random Acts" goodies like a $24,000 tuition gift, VIP passes, gear, gift cards, a grant or a trip to the MTV Video Music Awards!!! Not bad, huh?

You can watch awwwww-inducing episodes of "Random Acts of mtvU" on MTV at 4 p.m. everyday this week. The episodes will also run on MTV2 as well as mtvU (Duh.)  Check out the action widget below to find out what other great things mtvU is up to.
