When you think of tuxedos, beautiful women, fast cars, and bad guys, what do you think of? No, it's not a new James Bond movie; it's Ian Somerhalder's latest project.
The film, titled "Time Framed, is a six-part series and features Somerhalder as a secret agent -- but there's an eco-friendly twist, of course: his character is working to uncover a "clean energy method" that brings free power across the world. While the actor is best-known for his role on The CW's "The Vampire Diaries," fans of Somerhalder know he's also a big-time activist. He founded the Ian Somerhalder Foundation in 2010, and since then he's been working tirelessly to advocate for animals, our planet, and, you guessed it, clean energy.
Ian's series doesn't have a release date yet, but the trailer is already available. Spoiler: Somerhalder looks great in a tux. "Time Framed" follows the actor's character, Agent Truman Black, as he races to stop "the supposed heist and expulsion of a revolutionary clean energy method that brings free power across the world." In the process, Agent Black finds himself framed for the heist and has to become a whistleblower who "uncovers truths about control and corruption."
No matter the film's ending, one thing is sure: Somerhalder looks good saving the world, whether it's on camera or in real life. Even if the secret agent thrillers aren't your thing, you'll definitely want to check out this film: all the proceeds from the film benefit Somerhalder's foundation!
