Swedish pop duo Icona Pop's second single, "All Night," dropped yesterday, and from the sound of it, the whole world will soon be dancing to it "All Night" long. Go 'head and get your twerk on, but if you find yourself staying up "All Night" more often than you should or would like to, here are a few tips for getting the rest you need, brought to you by some tuckered out pooches.
+ Turn Off Your Electronics

According to the Center For Disease Control, "insufficient sleep is a public health epidemic" that can lead to decreased daytime performance, emotional instability, and even an increased risk of car accidents. If you often find yourself staying up into the wee hours of the morning Tweeting, Facebooking, and Insta-stalking your latest crush, it may be time to shut off your electronics. It's easiest to fall asleep when you have nothing else to do, so close your computer screen, put your phone on the bedside table (not under your pillow, cheater! We both know it'll be back in your hand the second you hear it buzz!), and eliminate the light-up distractions that keep you from closing your eyes every night. I promise the Internet will still be there when you wake up.

If you wanna fall asleep super fast, read a really boring one.
+ Avoid Caffeine, Large Meals, + Alcohol Before Bed-Time

So, basically start planning for bed about three hours before you hit the hay. The National Sleep Foundation recommends not eating, drinking, or smoking before bed (or ever), as the nicotine in cigarettes is a stimulant, and the over-consumption of food and alcohol can cause disrupted, uncomfortable sleep -- and even nightmares!
+ Exercise

One of the best ways to make sure you're tired come bedtime is to work out during the day. You'll sleep like a baby, plus the exercise and added rest will make you look fab! Although everyone's sleep requirements are different, the average teen needs 8.5-9.5 hours of sleep. The average adult needs 7-9. Regardless of the numbers, listen to your body, and let it rest when it tells you it needs to.
