Only 53% of seniors are active online, which leaves nearly half of them totally disconnected from their loved ones and today's super wired society. DoSomething.org's Grandparents Gone Wired campaign encourages young people to keep their elders up to speed with today's technology. Not only will it help them stay in touch with their friends and family, but how funny would your grandparents' Twitter accounts be?!

Most retirement homes are happy to have individuals or groups in to brighten their residents' days. Have a conversation, give a dance or arts and crafts lesson, or even perform with your band.
