In the years since it began production, we've heard quite a bit about "47 Ronin," the samurai fantasy epic starring Keanu Reeves, but not a lot of it has been good. The film, which was originally set for a November 2012 release, was delayed due to reshoots, and then rumors of editing room drama began to circulate sometime afterward.
But as "World War Z" showed the world earlier this summer, no amount of production trouble can damn a movie entirely, and now that a trailer for "47 Ronin" has hit Yahoo! Movies UK, viewers can judge for themselves whether they'd like to join Keanu on another martial arts adventure or not.

When MTV News Josh Horowitz spoke with Reeves in 2011, when the actor was filming "47 Ronin," and he described it as "a story of revenge and impossible love."
In the film, Reeves stars as Kai, a half-breed samurai, who is enslaved and kept from his true love. When his master dies, Kai is freed in order to lead his fellow ronin in revenge. "The samurai become outcast and decide to enact revenge on the person who is responsible for the death of their lord," Reeves said.
"47 Ronin" will open in theaters on December 25. It also stars Rinko Kikuchi ("Pacific Rim"), Hiroyuki Sanada ("Lost," "The Wolverine"), and something called a Zombie Boy.
