On tonight's episode of "Catfish," we meet Dorion — a young man who is torn between an online relationship with a girl named Jeszica, and an offline relationship with a girl named Raffinee. Although Dorian and Raffinee live together, he feels he needs to meet Jeszica in order to make the right choice between the two.

Tonight's show was especially interesting because — well, honestly, it's pretty impossible to dislike any of the people in this twisted love triangle. Although nobody should pretend to be someone they're not, nobody should lead on two people at once, and nobody should put up with being led on, Dorion, Raffinee, and Jeszica -- who turns out to be a beautiful but lonely girl named Alexis -- are all kind people who are genuinely in search of true, lasting love.

We hit up Katie Ray Jones, leader of the National Dating Abuse Helpline, and an expert in the field of healthy relationships, for some insight on Dorion's situation.

"While it was very painful for Raffinee to see Dorion torn, he needed to check out his online relationship," says Jones. "He was not able to fully commit to Raffinee until he did." Dorion ultimately commits to Raffinee, but his decision may not come without difficulty. "The remaining issue is whether or not trust issues will emerge in their relationship," says Jones. "Was Dorion's relationship with "Jeszica" fulfilling a need that he wasn't getting out of his relationship with Raffinee? Will he ever be fulfilled in his relationship with Raffinee?  Will he look for another online relationship? Does Raffinee trust that he won't?"

The best way to avoid a situation like Dorion's is to talk it out. If you're torn between two loves — on or offline — spare everyone's hearts, including your own, as best as you can by being upfront about it. Have an honest conversation — first with yourself to figure out what you want, and second with all involved parties. "Honesty and trust are important in relationships," says Jones. "If someone is feeling torn between two relationships, they should be honest with each person." There are so many people in the world, and these things do happen, but there's no need for any situation to get as complicated as Dorion's.
