LGBTQ rights and same-sex marriage are big in the news now with the recent the recent news of Exodus International closing and the wait for the Supreme Court's decision on two same-sex marriage cases. "Teen Wolf" star Holland Roden is excited at the idea of real change happening in the push for equality.
The MTV talent Tweeted:
Change is coming to America. And God is it about time- Supreme Court ruling next week.!! #overturn prop8 http://t.co/BEWoIloNzY

Her photo references Exodus International, a ministry that has claimed it can "cure" gay people and turn them heterosexual. But Alan Chambers, the president of the organization, has now apologized to members of the LGBTQ community, and said that Exodus International will no longer be around.
This is good news for LGBTQ rights supporters like Holland. She's also hopeful about how the Supreme Court will rule on its same-sex marriage cases, though right now no one but SCOTUS knows the results of the voting. Holland Tweeted all of this over the weekend. Perfect timing as it's actually THIS week when we can expect to get a ruling. There are a number of ways the Justices could rule (don't expect it to be as simple as "Yes" or "No"), and many people are going to be glued to the news in the next few days.
Holland's Tweet isn't the first occasion where the actress has shown her support for LGBTQ rights. She's also posed in the NOH8 campaign (just like co-star Crystal Reed). We don't know yet how the Supreme Court will rule, but we do know more and more allies like Holland are popping up everywhere.
