Our boy Baracksdubs has done it again! Last year, MTV Act and Barackdubs debuted Barack Obama singing 2012's summer jam, "Call Me Maybe," and this year, President Barry is feeling the heat again. This time around he's covering Daft Punk's let's-stay-out-all-night-and-make-out summer hit, "Get Lucky."
That's right. And it's just as AMAZING as you'd think -- even our favorite incognito French robots would approve!
+ Watch Barack Obama singing "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk (featuring Pharrell).
Baracksdubs -- real name Fadi Saleh -- has been creating many memorable Obama in karaoke-mode moments since last year. Along with "Call Me, Maybe," (38 million views and counting), Barry has also "sung" MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This," (over 4.7 million views) right after he won the election, Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend," (over 8.6 million views), LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It," (over 20.6 million views) and Lady Gaga's "Born This Way," (over 8.7 million views). NBD as 20-year-old Fadi just completed his sophomore year of college. Because you know, we all did stuff in college that Obama actually commented about. Yep, Mr. President has seen Fadi's famed "Call Me Maybe" video and called it a "cute pop song."
We all know Barry got lucky and won the election last year but we're hoping he's grasping some four-leaf clovers this week as well all patiently await the Supreme Court of the United States (better known as SCOTUS) decision on two same-sex marriage cases. The outcome? We're hoping we can all "get lucky" in the near future and marry our loved ones -- regardless of gender. To take action on marriage equality or stay up to date with all things Baracksdubs, take action below and remember to keep your fingers crossed this week!
