Politicians just loooove talking with their hands. Here are a few of our favorite political hand gestures.

+ Jazz Hands

Just look at those jazz hands! Mitt Romney is ready to sashay his way all the way to the White House. And one, and two, and three, and hit it!

+ The Fist Bump

President Obama has mastered the art of fist bumping. Me, not so much. More often than not, my open hand awkwardly meets a friend's closed fist. Then we try to adapt, and my friend's open hand meets my closed fist. This miscommunication usually goes on for multiple rounds until we give up and hug instead.

+ The Precision Hand

What is Mitt Romney doing here?

a) He is making bunny rabbit shadow puppets.
b) He just ate a plate of lasagna and is complimenting the Italian chef. "Magnifico!"
c) He has a very precise point to make.

+ The "Hang Loose"

Obama was born in Hawaii, thus the "hang loose" hand gesture. "Bro we should, like, totally catch some waves when I'm done being President and stuff."

+ The Wave

There's just something about the way politicians wave. It's infinitely classier than the usual, "Oh Heeeeeeeeey!" wave I give to my girlfriends from across the bar.

This tried and true hand gesture is a total power move and staple amongst politicians. It says, "I want you to do the right thing for your country…by voting for me."
