Though he's still rounding out the movie's cast, it looks like Ridley Scott has already started filming his upcoming movie "The Counselor."
JustJared has nabbed a photo of Brad Pitt shooting a scene in a hotel on the London set of the movie, dressed in full cowboy attire. Pitt plays Westray in the film, a man who advises Michael Fassbender's character in the drug deal that the movie hinges on.
In addition to this new set photo, we've also learned about two actors who have joined the cast in the movie.
Deadline is reporting that John Leguizamo has come on board to play a low level drug dealer. Variety has learned that Rosie Perez has been cast as well, though there's no news on who she'll be playing.
In addition to Pitt, Fassbender, Perez and Leguizamo, "The Counselor" stars Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz and Dean Norris.
Written by Cormac McCarthy, "The Counselor" tells the story of a lawyer (Fassbender) looking for some easy money after he pops the question to his girlfriend (Cruz), so he plans to smuggle $20 million of drugs into the US with the help of a criminally-tied acquaintance (Bardem) and the mysterious, untrustworthy Westray (Pitt). He quickly learns what a mess he's gotten himself into, though. It doesn't have an official release date yet, but "The Counselor" will likely hit theaters at some point next year.
