The third season of "Game of Thrones" is headed to the Riverlands, and now we have our first taste of what they will look like.

Some new set photos that show the Tully estate Riverrun have hit the web courtesy of HBO Watch. Though the show follows the story of Catelyn Tully, the widowed wife of Eddard Stark, and we've met her sister Lysa in the first season, we've never had a chance to see the lands where the Tullys come from. Until now, that is.

Despite the fact that Riverrun is introduced earlier in George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels, the HBO series will be visiting the ancestral seat of House Tully for the first time in the upcoming season. Two major Tully family members have already been cast: Clive Russell as Brynden "Blackfish" Tully, Catelyn's uncle, and Tobias Menzies as Edmure, Catelyn and Lysa's younger brother. No word yet on who will play Hoster Tully, the sick patriarch of the family.

Much of Catelyn and Robb Stark's storyline in the first half of "A Storm of Swords," which season three largely will be based on, takes place at Riverrun. Robb turns to his mother's family for support against their Lannister enemies and to help him resolve the problem he created by marrying Talisa Maegyr and thus severing his betrothal to the Frey family. Let's just say that Robb's passionate decision will cause some problems than it was worth farther down the road.

But Catelyn and Robb aren't the only two characters who are getting a new setting for season three. Daenerys will continue to travel through the desert cities across the Narrow Sea while Jon Snow heads even farther north of the Wall. Then there's Bran, Rickon, Osha and Hodor who are traveling through the lands of the North to try to seek safe haven following their faked deaths. There is plenty to look forward to once "Game of Thrones" returns to the small screen on March 31, and we're going to treasure every set photo released until that date arrives.
