Legendary Entertainment has teased the above "The Hangover 3" promo image on its official Facebook page. If we needed any proof that the wolf pack will be back and better than ever in the upcoming movie, this is it. Just look at those teeth!
We don't know much about "The Hangover 3," but we do know that it is due in theaters on May 24, 2013 and that it will round out director Todd Phillips' rowdy trilogy. We also know that it won't follow the same formula as the previous two films did, which makes us even more intrigued about the final product.
This image looks very familiar to what's come before, though. The three-man wolf pack of Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) has been a staple of the series so far, and we're glad nothing has (seemingly) come between them this time around. That might be a lot to read into an image of a wolf howling, but we like to be optimistic about the longevity of their friendship.
Of course, those three aren't the only actors returning for another go at the series. Ken Jeong will reprise his role as Mr. Chow, though hopefully he can keep his clothes on this time around. We also have heard that Mike Epps and Mike Tyson will somehow cross paths with these guys again. Considering the fact "The Hangover 3" heads south to Tijuana, expect plenty of insanity to be in our near futures.
"We're going to surprise a lot of people with the final chapter we have planned," Phillips said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions."
