You can trust Jenni JWOWW Farley of "Jersey Shore" to speak her mind, especially when staying loyal to her friends. Talk of same-sex marriage has been mega big news this week, first with Amendment 1 in North Carolina, and then with President Obama officially coming out with his support of same-sex marriage. Well, you can add JWOWW's commentary to the list. Her words on Twitter are pretty blunt, but she's talking about everyone loving and not bullying:
My best friend will get married one day and not just have civil union with his man. Stop hating people
— JWOWW (@JENNIWOWW) May 10, 2012
In JWOWW's home state of New York, legislators have passed a marriage equality bill, as of last June. However, the state of New Jersey -- where she currently resides alongside her "Snooki and JWOWW" roomie -- has civil unions, and attempts to legalize same-sex marriage in the state have failed. People who support same-sex marriages often point out that "civil unions" are a form of differentiating, among other things, and that wouldn't be true equality.
But JWOWW's strong support shouldn't be a shock at all, because the girl is out loud and proud in her support of LGBT peeps. She's donned purple on Spirit Day to fight LGBT bullying and joined the Love is Louder campaign as another step to say that bullying has got to go. No bullying, no hating -- JWOWW won't put up with any of that stuff. And I bet she can't wait to go to her friend's wedding.
