The King of Hollywood, Ryan Seacrest, as usual dominated his hosting duties on Wednesday's American Idol. I mean, he makes hosting look easy! Looking dapper as always, Ryan strutted his designer suit center stage, but did you notice the '6' lapel pin he was wearing?
We did some investigation and uncovered the marvelous message behind it. 'Got Your 6' is a new campaign led by the entertainment industry striving to spark up a new conversation in America. They want to see military families and veterans to be perceived as leaders and civic assets, and work to unite civilians with veterans.
You may be curious what "Got Your Six" means and why they have chosen this as the campaign name. Well, in the military "Got your six" = "I've got your back, and you've got mine." Interesting little fact, right?
