The always wonderfully deadpan Bob Balaban is back for the second in a series of behind-the-scenes featurettes for Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom," which are premiering this week on various blogs.

Today's clip gives us a look at the Anderson's work with the children who starred in the film. They had lots of fun.

It only seems appropriate that the most Wes Anderson-y movie ever have an equally Wes Anderson-y look behind the scenes.

As the narrator tells us, Anderson called for over 300 child extras to play Khaki Scouts, his version of the Boy Scouts, in one scene. Balaban also goes into hilariously broad detail, explaining that the scenes also involved a boat, a zip line and a model rocket. They even found a kid who was really good on a trampoline. Also, keep an eye out for the awesome kid who shouts "I love 'Fantastic Mr. Fox'" at Anderson.

Tomorrow's look at "Moonrise Kingdom" will appear at Fandango.com, so be on the look out.

"Moonrise Kingdom" tells the story of a young scout (Jared Gilman) who runs away with his young love, much to the chagrin of the adults, played by a host of A-listers including Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton and Frances McDormand.

"Moonrise Kingdom" is scheduled to open in select theaters on May 25.
