Cody Simpson just can't stop doing good deeds! After he gave us an exclusive interview about his involvement in the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign, we caught him getting involved with Teen Cancer America as well.
Teen Cancer America is all about bettering the lives of teens and young people who have been diagnosed with cancer. Cody said he likes to get involved with philanthropy aimed for teenagers and kids, and the musical angle might have spoken to him as well. You see, Teen Cancer America comes from the hard work and sweat of Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who. (If you don't know The Who, ask your parents -- they'll know!) Cody was also pretty excited to be hanging with Roger -- and getting his hair messed up by the living legend during this week's event.
During his MTV Act interview yesterday, Cody also encouraged his fans to start volunteering young and grow up doing it. You know what this means, right? Yup -- Cody's shown you another great org to get involved with. After you've donated some meals to Child Hunger Ends Here, you can help out with Teen Cancer America. (You might get your parents to join you, too, once they realize The Who is involved.) You can do things like fundraise, donate or volunteer. If you think you might want to volunteer, you just have to fill a few things out on their website and they'll get back to you with more info. Maybe someday you'll even get an opportunity to volunteer with Cody and get your own selfless snap!
