MTV is known for throwing a 'Super Sweet 16' every now and again, but the birthday we are celebrating today truly takes the cake. Malala Yousafzai has inspired not only MTV Act, but members of our entire MTV family. While we will never be able to give enough thanks for everything she has done, we did get some of her biggest fans to wish the superstar a truly special sweet 16!

Jason Derülo swung by the MTV studios and made sure to wish the universal 'It Girl' a very Happy Birthday!

Nev and Max took time out from promoting Season 2 of  'Catfish' to show their love to the girl who isn't afraid to stand up for who she is and what she believes in.

In lieu of a blinged-out bash, Malala is spending her birthday at the UN speaking to youth about the importance of education (her first talk since her attack). It's a monumental event, and we're there live-tweeting and Instagramming the whole thing, so check it out!

The biggest gift you can give Malala is to sign her petition, demanding that every child in the world is in school and receiving an education by 2015.
