We have come to the end, the final round of MTV Movies Blog's Great, Big Movie Monster Brawl!
In the lead-up to "Pacific Rim," which is in theaters today, we have been pitting horrible beast against horrible beast to see which modern movie monster would reign supreme.
After three rounds we have narrowed down the final contestants to the lovely creatures so you see above, so click past the jump to reach about the two newest entrants and vote for your choice.
The Basilisk from "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"
What other monster could be worthy of the heir of Slytherin? This giant snake has the ability to petrify people into an near-death like state and its poison can kill a Horcrux. Totally bad, ass right?
Shelob from "Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King"
She had been the cliffhanger of the "Two Towers" book, but the legendary spider of Middle-earth waited until the third movie to reveal her terribleness, and when she did, we still had to wonder if Frodo lives. (Even though we knew that he totally does.)
