Snooki and JWOWW are getting ready to take New York City with the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on March 16. And you have a chance to win a trip to NYC and attend the event as a VIP!

The GLAAD Media Awards are all about celebrating positive portrayals of LGBT people and their friends in TV shows, movies and the news. So when you think of someone in the entertainment industry using their platform to further LGBT rights, who comes to mind? Anderson Cooper. Ellen Degeneres. The "Jersey Shore" cast. JWOWW recently posed for the NOH8 campaign and then told me all about it in an exclusive MTV Act interview. Snooki teamed up with MTV's A Thin Line campaign to take a stand against bullying. And who here remembers how co-star Vinny Guadagnino was a presenter at last year's awards?

JWOWW and Snooki won't be the only big names there, either. The Queen of Pop Madonna will also be in attendance to give the the Vito Russo Award to Anderson Cooper, who bravely came out this past year adding another prominent gay figure on television.

"Buuuut," you're probably saying, "what about the chance to win a trip?!?!" All you have to do is donate $10 or more to GLAAD by 3:00pm ET today. Then it's fingers crossed time! If you win, you and a friend will get free airfare, free hotel, and tickets to the award show and after party. In other words, giving $10 toward LGBT equality could get you flown to NYC to hang with JWOWW, Snooki, Madonna and Anderson Cooper. Now that's a reason to be glaad. (Argh, bad pun!)
