Rebel Wilson may have gotten up-close and personal with Channing Tatum in her trailer for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, but -- if his Twitter is any indication -- Channing's still happily married to wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
He's come to his wife's side in her efforts to fight against animal cruelty. Channing retweeted Jenna's Tweet:
RT @jennaldewan: Please!!! RT @chomatic: Join @jennaldewan & urge DA to file charges NOW for the 18,000+ animals... bit.ly/WI3AA8

Jenna, who Tweeted before about a wounded baby sea lion being rescued, is a big supporter of PETA. A few months back PETA found evidence of extreme animal cruelty at Global Captive Breeders in Lake Elsinore, California, where thousands of rats and reptiles were neglected, physically abused and killed. In December, law enforcement seized the remaining animals.
Since then, PETA has started a petition asking Riverside County, California, District Attorney Paul Zellerbach to bring felony cruelty charges against the people who harmed the rats and reptiles. So far more than 30,000 people have signed, including Jenna. (And I think it's fair to assume Channing signed, too.)
Jenna also wrote a personal letter to Zellerbach, saying, "As an expectant mother, I was particularly heartbroken to see photos of ailing mother rats with open wounds on their bodies who stood guard protectively over their dead or dying babies in the filthy plastic tubs that they were confined to without access to adequate food, water, or even moderately fresh air to breathe."
If all else fails, maybe we can send Channing over in "G.I. Joe" mode to take on the people who hurt the animals?
