When we seek help for our bodies, it's all good, -- so why is there such a stigma surrounding seeking help for our minds? The Jed Foundation wants to change that, and they're starting by rewarding one student who is working to reduce mental health prejudices with $2,000 and a trip to New York!
The Jed Foundation is a nonprofit that aims to promote metal health and prevent suicide among college students. It's totally normal to have tough times; the only thing that isn't normal is that so many of us are afraid to talk about it. If you're passionate about talking and getting other people to talk too, apply for the foundation's Jerry Greenspan Student Voice of Mental Health Award before March 14th by taking action below.
