On this week's "World of Jenks" episode, we watched Chad go to prom. If you thought you'd tune in, maybe cry a little, then go on with your life for the next seven days, you might want to hold off a minute: Chad needs our help.
If your heart doesn't grow a few sizes larger after watching Chad (and Kaylin and D-Real) on "World of Jenks" each week, then there may be no helping you. On the show, Chad shows us the realities of everyday life for someone living with autism, winning a place in our hearts, for sure. So when Andrew Jenks sent out this call to action via Twitter, we had to know more:
Chad's School Needs Your Help: yojenks.com/tagged/yojenks #WorldOfJenks #Autism

In his blog post, Jenks wrote: "Since Chad was very young, he has attended an unbelievable school. It made him who he is today. And that school is inches away from closing."
The school in question is the Westchester Exceptional Children's School, a non-profit organization that is located in North Salem, NY, but serves students from 36 school districts in New York and Connecticut. The school focuses "on meeting the educational, social and emotional need of students with autism, medically fragile children, and students with communication and behavior disorders."
If you want to help the school that helped Chad turn into the wonderful person he is, you can let everyone know that the school needs our help. Just share this post on Facebook or Twitter, talk to your friends, and make sure everyone knows about the amazing work that the Westchester Exceptional Children's School is doing. For those of you who have some change to spare, you can donate here.
