Sophia Bush should probably get the medal for Most Philanthropic Tweets, because she's always Tweeting about important issues, especially in regards to women's rights.
She's also passionate about access to education, and she got to cover both issues with this Tweet about Malala Yousafzai. Sophia Tweeted:
Hell YES. #Education "Malala goes back to school huff.to/15narxA" #Women #Girls @pencilsofpromis #IAmMalala
— Sophia Bush (@SophiaBush) March 20, 2013
Yup, you heard it here: Malala, who made our list for 10 of the Fiercest Women Making Herstory, beat the odds by surviving her assassination attempt and returning to school. Currently she's attending the Edgbaston High School for Girls in the British city of Birmingham, probably due to the fact her dad's gotten a job in Birmingham's Pakistani Consulate.
Sophia def has reason to be saying, "Hell YES" and doing the Twitter equivalent of a fist pump. It's the perf time for her to be bringing up Pencils of Promise, an org that works to bring education to kids everywhere. On top of being the celeb backing PoP for the Mozilla Firefox Challenge, she used her 30th b-day to raise more than $63,000 for the org. Can I get a "Hell YES"?!
Sophia is super proud of Malala for all she'd done, but considering everything Sophia's doing for education and women's rights, Malala would probably be proud right back at her.
