Exclusive Photos: Ryan Gosling From 'The Place Beyond The Pines'

In "The Place Beyond the Pines," Ryan Gosling plays a stunt bike driver that turns to bank robbery as a way to support his family. The film, which is directed by Derek Cianfrance, opens with an epic shot of Gosling's character walking from his trailer to the globe of death that you see in the exclusive photo below.

Check out all six exclusive photos from "The Place Beyond the Pines."

The sequence is one continuous take and ends with the character getting into the cage on his bike and riding around. MTV News spoke with Cianfrance about getting that shot and how he pulled off the trickery.
