Now I know y'all are too busy starting at the picture above, drooling over sir Ian Somerhalder but hear me out!

The hot-o-meter for sure just exploded because Ian Somerhalder is looking so smokin' in these new promo pics for a new product he's supporting! I mean, look at dem eyes! *fans self* "The Vampire Diaries" stud is pictured next to the new Cree LED light bulb,  which saves 84% more energy than those regular bulbs many of us probs have around our houses. It also lasts 25 times longer than a regular ol' boring bulb!

Ian is a legit fan of the bulbs and not just promoting some rando product. He told The Huffington Post, "What's really cool is we had the lights on yesterday, we were taking some pictures and I had my hand on this 60 watt bulb that had been on for an hour, and there was no heat! This is major game-changing technology. It's the real deal."

Um, I might be guilty of having some of those not-so-eco bulbs, but thanks to Ian I'm making the switch. We all know he's quite passionate about his environmental work through his namesake foundation, so I was obvi happy to see these photos with Ian continuing to bring awareness to all things green.

Much respect to the future Mr. Christian Grey (Fingers crossed, y'all!) with all he's doing to make this a better earth to live on! Just one question tho: When does he get his beauty sleep? #Swoooon
