We all have to shop, so why not buy products that give back? Whether you're in the market for everyday essentials or a one-time splurge, The Union Co. is a new site that is making it easier than ever to shop for a cause.
The Union Co. is the brainchild of Azusa Pacific University alums Mitch Ahlenius and Benjamin Juhlin, who wanted to give people another way to give back beyond donating to a charity. Ahlenius said they created the site because, "We want to activate people through the dignity of a business relationship, one where both sides win, because that is a more sustainable way to support a cause."
When you buy a product from The Union Co., you can cut out buyer's remorse completely because your purchase triggers a donation to a worthy cause. You can find everything from backpacks that support education to socks that help fight homelessness. You can search by category or cause, which makes your shopping experience that much easier.
The site launched on March 4, and we're already seeing products we love -- like these Vers 7E headphones; for every tree Vers uses in a product, the business plants 100 more! If the earphones aren't your style, the site has over 185 products from 25 different companies to add to your cart, so get shopping.
