At SXSW last week, Sarah Silverman, Tim & Eric, Reggie Watts, and Michael Cera announced the start of something called "Jash." Yeah, we didn't get it either, so MTV News' Josh Horowitz sat down with Silverman to talk it out and find out what Jash is all about.
"It is fartsy," Silverman said, "but it's also artsy."
The group is a comedy collective, funded by Google to create unfiltered content for YouTube. "We're all partners in this. Google and YouTube fund it, but we don't have to pass anything into them. They approve nothing," Silverman said. "There is no script that we have to send to anyone."
For Jash, it's all about freedom, which Silverman says makes it so enjoyable. "Every time I have an idea, I can shoot it the next day or week," she said. "And it's so fun."
