A revealing music video for Robin Thicke's song "Blurred Lines" made an internet sensation out of Emily Ratajkowski, and now a role in one of the most highly anticipated literary adaptations will give her first shot at a big screen role that will involve slightly more clothing.

Ratajkowski, according to The Wrap, has just scored a role in David Fincher's "Gone Girl," the adaptation of Gillian Flynn's best-selling novel. She'll play Andie, a mysterious girl who is revealed to have an important role in the disappearance of Amy Dunne (Rosamund Pike).

As anyone who has read "Gone Girl" will tell you, spoilers are pretty deadly for the overall effect of the story, so click past the jump for more (slightly spoilery) info on the role!

Okay, time for some first act spoilers. Andie, as we regrettably learn, is Nick Dunne's (Ben Affleck) mistress, and her existence makes his self-proclaimed innocence much harder to believe.

The cast of "Gone Girl" fell together pretty quickly once Pike and Affleck locked down the lead roles. Of all people, Tyler Perry has a small role in the film as the high-profile lawyer that Affleck hires once his public image goes down the crapper.

Then there's the wonderful casting of Neil Patrick Harris in a yet-to-be revealed supporting role that will hopefully be that of Amy's ex-boyfriend, who has his own dark secrets.

Suffice it to say that Fincher looks like he has one hell of a thriller lined up, one that will hopefully match the smarter-than-you'd-expect book, which combined suspenseful genre elements with comments on the modern marriage, all wrapped in an ingenious structure.
